     Hi! I am Lilliana and I am a student in drawing and painting two. I am a strong believer in freedom of expression. I love to express myself in unique creative ways which is why I took the class. My passion in life is dance and you will probably be able to find its influences in my art work. Through out the class, I hope to gain new ways to portray dance though my art and have a better understanding of how to draw or paint a dancers body.

For my pre-test drawing, I drew my self portrait. I decided to use a ball point pen to draw. I decided to use a pen because I didn't want to overthink it. The pen doesn't allow me to make changes. Once something is on the paper it must stay there. I like this and it helps me just go with it instead of obsessing over every detail.

I got inspired by a fellow student who was doing body paint for their project. I chose to paint dandelion on my left arm when I was struggling to stay focused in class. It was my productive break.
